We can paint your walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, shelves, etc with thousand of different colors from a number of different vendors in a number of different finishes such flat, matte, satin, eggshell, semi-gloss, high gloss, etc
Using a mix of water, vinegar, lemon juice & baking soda we can removal any wallpaper no matter age or condition. Then we remove the glue & skim coat the surface with spackle
Now our biggest seller! We remove all of the doors, drawer faces & hardware, de-gloss the finish, prime, apply two coats of a urethane finish, & then reinstall all of the doors, drawer faces & hardware. All of the cabinet doors and drawer faces will be sprayed & all the inner parts that are stationary will be painted with a texture free velour roller that will not leave an orange peel affect, bush strokes, etc. This is so we do not need to spray in you home & everything will dry the same. Additionally, the urethane is self-leveling, which also minimizes heavy texture. Cabinet doors can be sprayed on or offsite depending on your preference & garage space availability. We also have a shop of our own.
We can strip & stain any old or new oak, poplar, or pine wood on railings, staircases, floors & cabinets. We can also paint over stain after we prime it was an oil-based primer
We offer a two-part epoxy finish for garage & basement floors with or without the flake finish. Then we seal with a clear-coat finish
We always spackle all cracks, holes, nailpops, etc prior to painting. Then sand & repeat if necessary. We can also hang, tape & finish new drywall as well

It is important to make sure all contractors & their employees are insured while working in your home. At Focal-Paint all our employees are insured under our worker's compensation policy. Many painting contractors have employees that do not fall under that category and are considered to be sub-contractors. It is important to make sure that those individuals are insured along with the company your are hiring. Did you know that if an uninsured worker falls in your home they can sue you? Even if the contractor you hired is insured it doesn't make a difference.

The more you move for us the easier it is, but we would be more than happy to help you move items to the middle of the room.
Yes we typically move all your furniture to the center of the room & cover it with plastic. All the floors surrounding will be covered with plastic & drop clothes as well.
Our bids include all the materials, but it is up to you if you'd like to buy them instead. We strongly suggest allowing us to buy the paint because we buy in bulk & our prices can sometimes be 2-3 times better than the prices available to the customer in the paint store
Typically we require 50% down prior to starting the project & 50% upon completion, but there are some exceptions depending on the size & length of the project. We accept check, cash, credit card, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal for payment.
Yes, we have a complete list of references. We have plenty of past customers that you can speak with and locations that you can visit to view our work instead of just looking at pictures, because often times pictures can hide important details that you can only see in person.
